Giving a beautiful bouquet is even more special when you know where your roses come from. At Surprose, we work with growers who cultivate their roses with care for people and the environment. All our growers are certified to at least MPS-A standard, a certification that assesses, amongst other things, how growers manage crop protection, fertilisers, energy and waste.
Our roses come directly from the grower. Roses from the Netherlands, Kenya and Ecuador are gathered at Royal FloraHolland in Aalsmeer, before making their way to Surprose.
Roses from Kenya and Ecuador also grow under natural conditions with plenty of sunlight. As a result, less energy is required there to create artificial sunlight in the greenhouse. Each grower has their own way of managing their cultivation as sustainably as possible.
